An Update on the Digitex Trade Testnet and Our Work with Digitex
Hello everyone!
We wanted to provide you with an update on the Digitex Trade testnet and assure you that we are continuing our work on the Trade area so that we can move it to mainnet as soon as possible, while also looking after the DFE.
During the last five months, we have worked very hard trying to realize all of Adam’s creative ideas. But Adam has so many great ideas that it simply hasn’t been possible to implement even half of them yet.
We are happy to have been able to implement a reward program for you that works well and is being used. And soon, we will open the Digitex Trade area on the mainnet where you can trade many futures, spot, and forex markets. The UI is very intuitive and you can trade many markets and see one, two or even three ladders on your screen for different markets!
There will also be the possibility to deposit BTC and many other cryptocurrencies, as well as a KYC system that allows you to buy both DGTX and DUSD using a credit card!
But, before then, we need some time to finish the final improvements on the testnet and ensure that it is stable and robust. We are currently trying to apply different optimizations for improving performance. Together with the design team, we are working on improving the UI/UX and soon will update some parts of the testnet.
We have also developed a framework for bots and soon we will finish developing the user-configurable bots. So every user can take these bots, tune them and run them easily, giving everyone the chance to try out being a professional algotrader.
We have plans to publish posts more about these new features that will provide you with further details about them.
Unfortunately, during the last two days we have received many complaints from users on creating the CDPs. This was because the initial supply of DUSD for the testnet was only 25K. We have now added more test DUSD to the Vault, so this situation has been fixed.
Also, we want you to know that the current UI for this is not very user friendly as it is not clear how much DUSD we have for CDPs. We will fix this ASAP and publish clear instructions about how to use CDP, with math examples. So everyone will be able to calculate their profit using the CDP program.
There were also some issues with registration. Most of these are now fixed but we are still in touch with the support team and continue to make fixes to critical issues. As soon as we receive any UI issues from our quality assurance team, support team, and designers, we begin to fix them ASAP.
We are constantly working on performance improvements. So, stay tuned, and please be patient as we continue to work to realize Adam’s vision.
